ORLANDO, Fla. — Driving while high has become a leading cause of serious crashes on our roads and a problem that law enforcement is actively working to eliminate.
Experts believe the number of drug-related crashes is severely under-reported because of the lack of technology and enforcement tools.
Families who have lost loved ones to drug-impaired drivers believe it’s time for Florida to consider sweeping changes.
9 Investigates spoke to the Florida Highway Patrol about these kinds of crashes and what law enforcement is doing to try and have more tools in their arsenal to arrest those driving while high.
