VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — The Volusia County school district and teachers union have agreed to a new contract.
The deal includes a 2% cost-of-living adjustment and a pay raise for all instructional staff with at least one year of service.
Base teacher salary will start at $50,000.
The agreement still needs to be ratified next month.
