UPDATE:
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — At a press conference, Daytona Beach Police Chief Jakari Young spoke about the incident involving one of his officers.
In the press conference, the chief acknowledged the video and said that after reviewing it, he personally forwarded the incident to the Office of Professional Standards for a full review.
"Let me be clear, as Chief, I will always support the men and women of the Daytona Beach Police Department when they act within the law and within our policies. At the same time, when an officer falls short of those standards, it will be addressed swiftly and appropriately," said Young.

The Daytona Beach Police Department has placed an officer on administrative leave after a video surfaced showing the officer getting into an altercation with a suspect.
This stems from an argument over an open container.
In the video, you can see the officer punching the suspect who is in handcuffs.
The Chief of Police is expected to speak on the case later this afternoon.
