ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police are calling a Sunday night shooting in Washington Shores a homicide.
It happened shortly after 10 p.m. along Columbia Street, just west of Goldwyn Avenue.
Officers arrived and said they found a man lying on the ground, suffering from a gunshot wound.
First responders tried to save him, but the victim died at the scene, the Orlando Police Department said.
OPD has identified the victim as Brian Blackshear, age 42.
Investigators did not say if they have a suspect in the case.
