VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — A thunderstorm warning was issued for east central Volusia County until 6:15 P.M.
This includes Daytona Beach and Port Orange.
Movement is to the east at 15 mph.
Winds over 50 mph, intense lightning and hail are the biggest threats.
Additional strong storms remain possible along the I-95 corridor through the early evening hours.
